About Me
MEET THE FOUNDER
Why I built River®
That photo on the right is me in Vietnam at the exact moment the idea for River came to me. I don’t have the traditional credentials. I didn’t go to college, I’ve never worked in corporate. Whaat I do have is a dream to build something that makes the world better.
I’ve lived through water scarcity myself - my hometown of Bogotá went through a “Day Zero” rationing event that lasted a year. Later, while backpacking across Asia, I kept seeing the same bathroom signs: “Please shorten your shower.
With my background in music and years of working with audio gear, I realized sound could unlock it - we could “listen” to water, make the invisible visible, and empower people to change. River was born from that dream in Vietnam. Not to make people feel guilty, but to make them conscious. Because the world can’t save what it can’t see.
